We’ve posted a summary on our trip to Colorado and the meaning behind the DON’T GIVE UP project.   Now we’d like to share a little more about the workshop we attended near Divide, CO.

Jeremy and Ashley Parsons, photographer couple extraordinaire from Kansas City, hosted the DON’T GIVE UP workshop at an amazing lodge near Divide, CO.  Jon and I were 2 of the 19 photographers in attendance, and we are so thankful we were able to attend.  We learned a lot about life and our photography career – just how important our job is to preserve those memories.  We learned more about love, our marriage, and the marriages we get to witness.  We met new friends, ate DELICIOUS food, and soaked up God’s beautiful creation.  It was such an amazing experience.

Later that afternoon we headed out for a group photo shoot of Ben & Renee… the storm clouds were insane!

Day 3 began with a sunrise shoot of Dave & Jessi (our cooks & models for the workshop).

Leekers, Welsteads, Jeff & Erica, Jenae, Thomas, Dave & Jessi, Tim, Helen, Christine, Carly, DJ, and THE PARSONS, it was wonderful to spend a few days with each of you!  Jeremy & Ashley, THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything!!!
