I’d like to share my favorite cookies with you and teach you how to make them the correct way.Â
Last week I made my chocolately chocolate chip cookies but didn’t have the recipe in our book. I learned how to make these in junior high (I think in a class at school) – very easy recipe, and I thought I remembered the correct ratios of eggs/oil (1 egg & 1/3 cup oil). This is what happened:

The batter was EXTREMELY dry, and I ended up with little mounds of dryyyyyyy cookies. Jon tried to save the day and thought we needed more oil…

The second batch were REALLY oily and still very very dry… I was so sad that I couldn’t remember the easy recipe! So I tweeted about it, and my good friend Sarah replied & had the recipe written down. YAY!!!!!!

Yay for delicious chocolately chocolate chip cookies!!!! And yay for Sarah!!! (Thanks again, sweet friend!)
And now, you should go make a batch for yourself…
1 box Devil’s food cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 cup oil
chocolate chips
Mix well and bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes
YUM YUM YUM !!!

I just had to try these! they turned out delicious!!!! although in our oven I had to cook them for 12 minutes! I think our oven doesn’t get hot enough! i think they were even better the next day! thanks Em!
Mmmmm….looks delish!
Yay! So glad I had the recipe saved – and now I want to make them, too!
