Patrick & Sarah are good friends of ours.  Sarah & I have known each other since kindergarten.  She was my matron of honor, and I was her maid of honor.  She & Patrick are working towards their PhD degrees at OU.  Patrick is getting his in meteorology and Sarah in mathematics.  Patrick works at the NWC, and he gave us a tour of the facilities.  Very cool place!

Jennifer is a 9th grade history teacher & she also did her senior thesis on Judge Parker, so this location was perfect!  They brought along several items: 1. Wichita State license plate (Jen was born in Wichita, her Dad lives there & went to WSU), 2. Chicago ‘Win’ flag (Jen & Darren love the Cubs), 3. Northside High School baseball hat (Darren’s high school, and he’s the VOICE of Northside football!), 4. Arkansas jacket (Darren & Jen met during college at the U of A), 5. Caroline’s Elmo (one of her toys), 6. Frog (Darren’s family loves frogs), and 7. Darren & Jen’s wedding photo (they just celebrated their 10th anniversary!).

Rylie, Emily, and Jon… It’s US!  Wahooo!!

We’re on the green thing in our backyard with a few items that describe us:

1. Road Bike – Jon & I LOVE to road bike.  We’re getting back on the indoor trainer next week!  (We need someone to keep us accountable, please!)

2. Ali the Gator -Rylie wanted her toy to be in the picture with us.  She also received a bone for participating.  =)

3. Converse – Those are my awesome kicks.

4. Camera – Jon’s holding our camera… we LOVE photography (just a little)!

5. Board Game – QUELF!!!  It’s our new favorite game… completely amazingizzle!  We definitely recommend it.

6. Razorback – Jon and I met at the U of A… Wooooo PIG SOOIE!!!

7. Cubs Hat – We love the cubs… Hey Chicago, what do you say?  The Cubs are gonna win today!

A new project! We got an awesome idea from John Michael and Dalisa Cooper’s Roadside Families Project (www.roadsidefamilies.com). They began their ‘Pay-It-Forward’ project by photographing families on the same clear, inflatable couch. What a fun idea! So here’s our goal: Photograph as many different people in as many different places (with objects & locations pertaining to their personalities & interests) on the same GREEN, inflatable couch. Give us a shout if you want in on our project or we may just come hunt you down! How far we get will depend on you…LET THE AWESOMENESS OF EPIC PROPORTIONS BEGIN!
